Avery had his school Christmas program last week. Poor guy. He was so exhausted from his long day at school, and they didn't even start singing until after 6:30 (when he's usually getting ready for bed). The school admin was sneaky enough to have everyone sit through a PTA meeting before the program started. We got there early enough to get what we thought were good seats, but they had the kindergarteners sit on the floor in front of the stage the whole time, completely blocked by the chairs and out of sight. The 4th and 5th graders were doing a little play on the stage, and the kindergarteners were singing the songs along with them. I was pretty disappointed. Everyone knows people want to see the little kids! They could have had them stand up for at least one song. Bah humbug.
We literally could not see him at all from where we were sitting (Claire was not happy and super sleepy, too), so I finally snuck up the middle aisle to snap a few pictures and get a quick video. He's wishing you a merry Christmas, even if he's not very excited about it...;)
