Whiting NAS recently held it's first flight suit formal. Each squadron picked a theme to dress up as using the flight suits. Our squadron, VT-3, picked "wild wild west!" It was my suggestion to do a cowboy theme at a previous spouse club social, and I was excited to see that so many people decided to participate. Phil had just gotten back from Montgomery that same day, but we managed to find hats and bandanas and dress the part. Thankfully, I already had a flight suit dress that we used for the Warrior Awards at Macdill AFB. We didn't win the trophy, but I think our squadron definitely has the best spirit!
