A few weekends ago, we were all able to make it to a Montgomery Biscuits baseball game. The only other game Avery's been to was a Yankee's vs. Ray's game in Tampa when he was only a few months old. Phil bought great seats right next to the field, but we were only there several minutes before Avery made a concerted effort to actually climb out onto the field where the players were. He didn't understand why we had to stay in the seats instead. Needless to say, the rest of our time was spent at the playground and a grassy patch past the outfield. Avery was much more excited about his souvenir kickball than anything having to do with the game, anyway, and Claire was just very happy to be out of her carseat after our long drive to SC and back.
Phil and I have some good memories at the Biscuits' stadium from our time in Montgomery at ASBC, and Phil has been recently with his SOS flight, too. It was nice now to bring our kids back, even if we didn't spend much time actually watching the game. ;)
