Phil left for deployment earlier this week. This is the first time he's been gone (for more than a week) since Avery's been born. We have been really blessed to have him here through all of Avery's medical ups and downs, so I can't complain too much, but it will be hard for sure. Below are a few pictures we took before saying goodbye on base.
