Phil surprised the kids recently with packages from Koala Crate. These are really neat all inclusive, age specific art kits. The kids love crafts so they were so excited to get these boxes in the mail with their names on them...and of course we had to start right away. Phil didn't think this part through because I then had to get through homework and make dinner while helping put together two complete craft projects. Even Bailey came to pitch in watch.
Claire loved her rainforest themed project where she made a butterfly and a rainstick tree complete with a stacking game.
Avery's project was a really cool arcade style claw to put together and then pom pom creatures to try to pick up with the claw. I took much fewer pictures of his because it was a lot more work for mom!
The kids were really proud of their work. It was a pretty great idea. Thanks, Dad!!
