We have been staying very busy with friends celebrating the season, which helps us pass the time until Dad gets home. We had a fun playdate at our house with other sweet friends whose dads are away, and enjoyed eating chili, decorating cookies, and then watching the Goldsboro Christmas parade.
The cookies were great, but the icing and the sprinkles were the big favorites!
We ran into even more friends at the parade!

The next day we met up with good friends Meredith and Will (and their mom, Paige) as they were stopping through town on the way back from a wedding. The kids were sooooo excited to catch up with and play with their friends, and they picked up right where they left off. We have missed them so much!
The moms were pretty excited about spending time with Paige, too!
Lastly, just this past weekend, we had an awesome playdate at Avery's friend Payton's house. Avery may have a little bit of a crush on this sweet girl, and he's been blessed to have her in his class both this year and last.
