Recently, Phil took Avery to see his first movie in the theater (The Ridge, in Pace), Penguins of Madagascar. We had gotten a free ticket by buying How to Train Your Dragon 2, so we decided that even if he didn't sit through all of it, it wouldn't be a huge waste of money. ;) It turns out that he did great!
His baby bunny had to come, too...
Thankfully, they still make kids' meals at the movies, which was the best deal, by far. It was only $5 for a drink, full size candy (Phil only let him eat half), and a scoop of popcorn.
He had a hard time keeping the seat from folding up on him, and ended up in Daddy's lap for most of the movie. Other than thinking it was a little too loud initially, he really enjoyed it and behaved well through the whole show. Phil thought it was a pretty cute move, too.
My little guy is growing up! We are looking forward to many future daddy-son and mommy-son dates with him at the movies!
