The night after we opened our gifts in Florida, we decided to take the kids to see the giant light display and the big inflatable walk-through in Milton. These places are great and are right across the street from each other. Very reasonably priced (if they charge anything), not crowded, and owned by friendly Christian families that aren't afraid to remind everyone that Jesus is reason for the season.
This is before we'd even been in the car 5 minutes...all that opening and playing with presents apparently wore them out. Yay for matching pjs!
They rallied when we got there and were really excited about seeing the lights and riding the train. There was a santa that you could have your picture taken with, but the kids only wanted to see him from a distance. That's fine with me, since he costs extra anyway.
These pics on the train went from bad to worse... ;)
The coolest part (to me) was that they had a real life (huge) camel and a donkey in the barn that were standing where everyone could see them as we rode past. The kids were much more interested in the lighted elmo and minnie mouse displays, however. Sorry no pictures of all the lights...you just wanted to see the pics of the kids, anyway, right?!
