The kids and I put together our own gingerbread train this year. Thankfully, it came from a kit, had everything we needed, and even came with instructions...my kind of project. Avery got really into it, and Claire liked decorating with (and eating) the candy.

It actually didn't taste too bad, and we all munched on it for several days before I finally snuck it into the trash. I think this needs to be a tradition that we continue each year!
