Florida Christmas 2013

Since we were headed back to Indiana for Christmas, we had to do our family celebration a little early here at home.  Unable to wait any longer, the kids (well, Avery) convinced us to let them open their presents from each other the day before we opened everything else.

Avery wanted to get Sissy a tent like his Cars one, so we found her a princess tent of her own. She was pretty excited. :)

Claire picked out a hotwheels truck and an imanginext Robin Hood for Avery, and he loved them!

That night we got together our milk and cookies for Santa and the carrots for the reindeer.

Our "reindeer" made quite a mess.

The next morning, Avery was up by 5 am to open his stocking before Phil headed into work for a few hours. Thankfully, he was able to keep himself busy with what was inside for a while so Mommy could go back to bed for bit. He helped Claire with hers when she woke up a few hours later.

Then we played playdoh while we waited for Dad.

When Dad got home, it was time for presents! No time to change out of his flightsuit!

Avery most loved his Buzz doll (and Woody, too!)! He literally was jumping up and down when he pulled him out of the bag.

Claire liked her little people farm and her doll stroller the best! She didn't know what to think about the "vintage" cabbage patch dolls I regifted to her from when I was small...

Merry Christmas, part 1! :)

  1. Grat Pix Lindsey, very cool. Phil seems a little serious and we miss Mom in the photos.
