I feel bad for Claire sometimes because she is not given the one on one attention that her brother received as a baby. She has to be willing to go with the flow and tag along with wherever he wants mommy and daddy to go and play what he wants to play. Don't get me wrong, she's never short on entertainment, and she lights up when he's nearby...but it can't be the same with two kids as it was with only one. That being said, when Avery naps and Claire's up, I try to relish the time alone with her (instead of lamenting the lack of "me time"). She's full of personality these days. Lots of coos and smiles. She's enjoying the new (to her) toys that go along with being able to hold her head up- think exersaucer, jumper, bumbo... We're also hoping that being in these will help with her little bald spot that's developing in the back. Still not a fan of tummy time. at. all.
It got below 60' here one day, so we had to put on a coat! ;)
