Unfortunately, we have been taking turns being sick around our house lately. Avery started us off...barely off of one round of antibiotics before coming down with another cold/virus. It wasn't long after that that Phil and I both followed suit with runny noses, sinus headaches, fever, etc. Phil even took his first sick day from work today. Avery's back to his normal energetic self and running circles around the two of us.
We have been letting him watch a little bit of his movies in the morning while we wait for the coffee to sink in. His favorites are Finding Nemo ("wish" movie), Toy Story ("wee" for Woody), or anything Elmo. He sits in his seat with his animals for maybe 15 minutes tops and then gets up, says "off," and turns off the tv himself. While we almost wish he'd sit still a little longer, at least we don't have to worry about him watching too much tv right now!
