We had a nice Valentine's Day with Grandpa and Mimi in town, but we missed having Phil home. Avery got a few small stuffed animals and books and a balloon. It was Bailey's 5th birthday, as well. She got a haircut and new nylabone. We especially loved her Valentine bows, although she wasn't too excited about them.
We had heart muffins and eggs for breakfast and then made and decorated heart cookies. Avery would have rather used the pumpkin and witch hat cookie cutters, but we were able to distract him with the sprinkles. He insisted on putting sprinkles on every cookie (don't tell him they were left over from Christmas...Christmas trees and all).
Mommy and Mimi's little helper- Avery has his own stool so he can reach the counter.
Yum!
At one point Avery dropped half a cookie on the ground and threw a temper tantrum because Bailey ate it. There were plenty to go around, though, and he eventually decided that getting another cookie was quite all right with him.
