Pumpkin Patch

This year, we headed back to Holland Farms for some fall fun and to pick out our pumpkins. It did not feel at all like fall (high 80s), but we still had a great time.

Avery, rocking his stunner shades ;)

Sissy wasn't quite sure about the horse swing...

Avery once again impressed us by wanting to ride the horses. He insisted that I put him up on the horse (no small feat), but once he got moving he did a great job!

Claire loved the hay slide...

and the corn box!

Avery, not so much. :/ He was happy just sitting on the side and watching little sister. He's not a fan of getting messy, and he didn't want to do it last year either.

Hayride to the pumpkin patch...itchy but fun.

Of course, Avery had no problem picking out a pumpkin...or two.

Then he helped pick out Claire's and look for mom and dad's.

My muscle man ;)

It was no small task getting two kids and four pumpkins back to the tractor and eventually the car, but everyone made it home in one piece (albeit dusty and dirty and worn out). Our pumpkins are now proudly displayed on the front porch!
