Papaw came in on St. Patrick's Day, and we wasted no time getting started having fun! We "made" cookies with green sprinkles to be festive. These were only the break and bake since Avery doesn't have a lot of patience right now. He loved helping to put on the sprinkles and wanted to wait on his stool while the cookies cooked so he could taste them right away.
The next day, we went to the Hyde Park splash pad. Avery spent the first 45 min. sleeping in his stroller and was slow to get in the water. He "orbited" the pool for a while before finally deciding it was ok to get all wet.
His favorite thing was "washing" the lions.
We also squeezed in a quick trip to the manatee viewing center. We only saw one manatee due to the warm weather, but we saw a lot of crabs, fish, small sharks, and birds.
