Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! It was beautiful today here in Tampa (70's and sunny), so Phil snuck in a round of golf and the rest of us went for a long walk and a bike ride. We watched the Macy's parade (Avery was most interested in the reindeer and an occasional dance number) and the dog show, which he loved. He kept trying to "pet" the dogs through the tv screen. We have a lot of the Christmas decorations up, but we're saving the tree and the outside lights for this weekend. We had a fantastic dinner at our friends, Sarah and Pete's, house where Avery ate only the sweet potato casserole and wore himself out completely.
Avery was way too busy playing with all the other kids and helping clean up (we found some of Maddie's pink plastic tea set in the trash can afterwards...oops!) to pose for a picture...so this is as good as it gets:
Can we say "tired?" (and "the claw??")

I wish I would have blogged a month's worth of things I'm thankful for (maybe next year!), but here are a few that are on the top of my list...
my loving husband, my beautiful baby boy, my wonderful family and friends near and far, my faithful God, our health, and that we don't have to worry about having "enough."
We are truly blessed. We hope to be a blessing to others who are less fortunate this holiday season and are planning some ways to "give back." We encourage you to as well!
