While at home in Southern Indiana, we took advantage of the beautiful fall weather and went to our local pumpkin patch, Hubers. Grammy, Grandpa, and Papaw came along for the fun. This was Avery's first time picking out a pumpkin, and he seemed to really enjoy it. I love experiencing all these "firsts" with him!
The steering wheel is practically as big as he is. :)
We took a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch!
It was quite an adventure finding the perfect one...then we let Dad haul it back to the tractor.
Later in the week came another first, painting our pumpkin! Thank goodness it was a warm day, and we could strip down Avery so he could be free to paint/make a mess.
Dad was pretty daring and got really close to help with the paints. Avery would point to each color and say "ope! ope!" (open).
