Waiting our turn for radiology...So we couldn't have had a better result this morning from the swallow study! (At least from the radiologist's point of view; haven't heard from the surgeon yet). After Avery somewhat willingly drank the nasty barium dye, the radiologist said that his esophagus "looked great" and was "functioning perfectly." He also said that he would never have known that Avery was born with esophageal atresia if we hadn't told him. So how's that for the power of prayer?! Thank you all! What a blessing. We are so so excited for Avery's procedure in the morning at 8am. Bye-bye tube and wire!! Lots of pictures to come tomorrow! : )
