Claire's preschool class went strawberry picking recently. We had a morning of meltdowns, and she was not happy at all about brother's batman rain boots that I insisted she wear for the mud. After multiple threats to get back in the car and go home, she finally found a few of her friends and started to have a good time.
The strawberry farm belonged to the family of a boy in her class, and we got there just in time, as many of the strawberries were getting past their prime. We managed to find more than enough to fill up our big $6 bucket though.

After all the picking was done, some of her class sat down to enjoy a picnic together. Claire ended up having a great morning. We are thankful for this sweet group of kids and their wonderful teacher, Mrs. Brown.
