Marbles Fun

I took advantage of having Phil home and braved the Marbles museum in Raleigh with the kids. Avery had been begging us to go back, but this place totally stressed me out last time with all it's multiple entrances and exits to each exhibit. It was a kidnapping waiting to happen.

Avery drove firetrucks and worked hard as a veterinarian.

Claire made sure her puppy was well groomed. She insisted on wearing both her infinity scarf and minnie mouse ears the whole day. She has her own sense of style and is much more daring than her mother. I do think she rocked the look though! ;)

Water table fun! Avery could have spent the whole time here. We had to finally drag him away to get to the rest of the museum.

The outside music area was also a big hit.

Avery also really loves the "money" room where green balls are used as currency. You can collect them when they dump from a big bucket on the ceiling, shoot them at targets, etc.

Claire and I try our hand at building a giant lego house and taking selfies (what else do you do inside the lego house?)... She was so funny about exactly how high she wanted the walls (they all needed to be the same).

While we were building legos, Avery was making and racing a toy car with Phil. He wasn't as good about snapping pics. :/

 Brain teasers with Dad...

Investigating flying parachutes...

 Surf's up!!

Minnie mouse ears must come off for gymnastics fun!

The kids had a blast, and it was much easier this time around with Phil there. We were able to be one on one with the kids and better play with and keep up with them!
