We had a pretty low key Fourth of July after Ashley had to head home. Phil had taken the kids to get fireworks while we were in Wilmington, which is why they came home with a lot more than I usually let them get. ;)
Other than the usual smoke bombs and snappers, which we did earlier in the day, they also each picked out a big firework. Claire got one called Ballerina Dance, and Avery's was Gotham city. It was buy two get one free, so we got something called Barn Stomper for free. Whoohoo! :) Phil also bought regular sparklers and big sword sparklers for each of the kids.
Avery wasn't as excited as Claire was to pose for pictures in their red, white, and blue.
I snapped this cute cuddle picture from inside the window. She's a daddy's girl for sure.
Dad supervised...Claire decided it wasn't so bad.
The sword sparklers were a little intense, so Phil ended up doing those mostly by himself while we watched from a safe distance. :)
