Our neighbors had a bike that they'd outgrown, and Avery was more than excited to take it off their hands. Even with a new tube and training wheels, this big boy bike was quite a steal. Avery could hardly wait for Daddy to get home from his work trip to help fix it up and take him outside to ride it.
Everyone got involved in the restoration process.
Finally, it was ready to ride...
but Avery's feet weren't quite able to reach the pedals enough to push.
With a little help from Daddy, we were off and down the street.
Can you tell we're excited?!?
He says sissy can have his little bike now. He doesn't need it anymore. ;)
Update- Phil was able to lower the seat even more, and Avery can reach the pedals to push them all the way around....now just to practice and figure out how!
