Recently, I found an airplane kite at Sam's Club, and I picked it up for Avery. He's been waiting (not so) patiently for Uncle Jared to get here to test it out at the beach. We headed out to Pensacola beach after church, and we all had a good time despite the chilly windy weather.
While the brothers attempted a speedy assembly, Avery explored the sand and chased after birds.
A few more minutes, and it was ready to go!
Dad, it's my turn!
Claire and I watched nearby and huddled for warmth. She eventually fell asleep, and we cuddled in our beach chair while the boys played in the sand.
It was a great day...can't wait for it to get just a little bit warmer!
