Avery had a great time this past weekend at his buddy Jackson's first birthday party! They went to a local petting zoo/farm, which was big hit with all the kids.
Jackson really got into his smash cake!...and I think he liked Avery's gift, too.

Getting ready to go on the hay ride. Mom couldn't ride along, but Avery did really well going with his friends. What a big boy (maybe it's the new haircut..)!
Feeding the cows! The owner even made a comment on what a good job he was doing. We have lots of practice teasing/ feeding our Bailey dog. Who knew cows liked tortillas so much?!
Then they got to feed and pet the goats and llamas. One little goat even squeezed out of her pen to say hello!
Avery came home with a goodie bag and balloons, and couldn't stop talking about how he went to a party (a new word for him). What a fun time!
