Phil and I really enjoyed going to Avery's school for a military appreciation breakfast this month (April is month of the military child). Avery was especially excited about it because he and two of his best friends (also from military families) got to leave class and come eat donuts with mom and dad.
Other students from the school had made thank you cards to give to our military kids to show they recognized their sacrifice, too. It was really sweet.
Avery also was able to put pins in where he was born and where he has lived. We found out that he and his friend Peyton from class were both born in the same hospital in FL, just a few months apart! It's a small world, especially in the Air Force.
(Peyton, Gus, and Avery)
It was a lot of fun to see these three laugh and play. Let's just say their teacher has her hands full! So thankful for sweet friends for Avery and for a school that recognizes their sacrifices, too!
