He is risen! We had a great (and busy) Easter this year. Here are a few pictures from the festivities.

This was our Pinterest project for Easter...look closely, and you'll see the 3 crosses on the hill. The tomb with the stone rolled away is in the front. Next year, maybe i'll think far enough in advance to plant seeds that grow instead of grabbing weeds last minute. ;)
The kids did an egg hunt on base, but it was really crowded, and the kids only got a few eggs. Avery was busy hiding from the "scary Easter bunny," and Claire was afraid of all the people and wouldn't let me set her down.

We decided to do our own egg hunt at home after church...Last minute, we filled up a bunch with jelly beans, and the kids had a great time in the front yard...plenty of eggs and no competition. ;)
