We quickly snapped Claire's 10 month pictures last week before heading out on our vacation (those pics to come). It started off ok...
Then she spit out the binkie, and things quickly went south.
Oh well...she's cute even when she's mad. ;)
At 10 months, Claire is done with baby food for the most part. She (and Avery) still love squeezies, but we are no longer buying containers of baby food. whoo hoo!! She will eat practically anything we eat as long as I cut it up. She loves feeding herself and then rubbing her hands in her eyes and in her hair...sigh. We go through lots of baby wipes around here. She is still nursing, but she's much less interested in it except at bedtime and when waking up. She'd rather eat big people food and drink water from her sippy cup. She waves a lot and has just started pointing, too. Claire is getting really good at pulling up on things and then takes steps around while holding on. She is able to stand by herself for a few seconds at a time. Claire is finally sleeping through the night consistently....going down about 6:30 and up at 5ish to nurse then back to sleep for an hour or two. She takes 2 or 3 naps during the day, if we're home to let her. She still doesn't like her carseat much at all...hoping that turning her around will make her happier. Her favorite toys are the giraffe from her little people noah's ark and a corncob from our kitchen set...guess they're the easiest to hold on to when crawling around. She babbles a lot...saying Dada but no Mama yet. She says hi, and we even heard her say uh-oh as she (purposefully) dumped her cup on the ground at dinner tonight. She has 3 teeth (two bottom and one upper left side), but there are several top teeth that look as though they could come through any day.
We are so thankful for our little girl. She has stolen our hearts for sure.
