We were blessed to be able to have Claire baptized while home for Thanksgiving. Pastor K officiated for her big day, just as he did for Avery, for our wedding, and for my confirmation.
Claire was a great baby during the ceremony, she just looked around and happily sucked on her binkie (thank goodness my friend Ashley had a spare b/c I had left ours at the house!). Avery did great too, while standing (well, being held by Phil) in front of the congregation with us.
Our good friends, Ross and Courtney, agreed to be Claire's godparents and sponsors, and we are so happy they did. Thankfully, they were both able to come, despite it being the holidays and hectic job schedules. It made it extra special with everyone there.
I was really glad that my sister Shelley was able to be there, as well. The busy med student had to go straight from the church to the airport to head back to school.
Phil's mom, aka Nana, had everyone over to their house afterwards to celebrate with chili (perfect for the cold weather) and lots of yummy desserts. It was great getting to spend more time with family and friends that we don't get to see very often.
My best friend Ashley, had her second son, Evan, 9 days before I had Claire. Here they are meeting for the first time!
He's such a cutie and looks just like his big brother, Logan, my godson. :)
Logan and I!
Avery and Logan had a great time playing together. Nana has some great toys!

We attempted a group picture, but guess who didn't want to participate (trying to hide behind Uncle Matt)...
Such a special day!! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate it with us. :)
