So, we've had Avery home for one week now, and things are going really well. Granted, we are somewhat sleep deprived, have been peed on multiple times, and are getting used to planning everything in 3 hour increments (around his feeding schedule), but we are just so thankful to finally be all together as a family. Avery is doing great so far. He had his first pediatrician appointment and got an overall clean bill of health. He has his follow-up with the surgeon this next Monday, so we'll keep everyone posted on how that goes. He sleeps well at night and is doing a great job with breastfeeding. We are going through lots of diapers and lots of outfits. He loves his bouncy seat and is warming up to his swing. We're hoping he starts to enjoy them more so we can go back to using two hands again, instead of holding the little guy 24/7. More to come as I get better with the whole time management with a newborn thing. : ) Thank you again for everyone's thoughts and prayers. God has truly blessed us with our little man and his recovery so far.
